| Position Summary | A Leader in the facility consulting industry is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to execute projects, and lead in developing an electrical consulting / commissioning department. The company specializes in Building Commissioning, LEED Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning, Facility Assessments, and Energy-related services and projects. The Senior Project Manager is capable of successfully executing, managing and growing the electrical components of these services. The manager is a proven, experienced, hands-on Project Manager willing to roll up their sleeves, get involved, and get the job done. You must be a proven leader, highly motivated, and ready for the challenge of further developing our Electrical Department to support our growing business, and the growing demand for electrical systems commissioning. | Position Requirements | Thorough understanding of large complex building electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, lighting control, emergency power, fire alarm, security and specialty low-voltage systems. • 10+ years experience in electrical systems design, construction, testing and/or commissioning. • Experience testing, validating and troubleshooting complex electrical building systems. • Proven project management and technical skills. • Experience working with electrical sub-contractors and field personnel. • Building Commissioning, LEED Commissioning, and/or Retro-Commissioning experience (a plus). • Hospital and laboratory facility experience (a plus). • LEED and/or Building Commissioning certifications (a plus). • Demonstrated team-building skills. • Strong computer, technical writing and communication skills required. • Successful experience networking at business events, delivering presentations and creating business opportunities. • BSEE degree (required). • PE (required). • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time outside the local area on a periodic basis. |
